Hosting Support For Send13 SPF Records

Before you can even begin to add Send13's SPF and records, you will have to locate the DNS Zone for the Domain in question. This page is for SPF support only, your DKIM instructions are here...

REMEMBER: It can take minutes to 3 to 5 hours, for your host to update their records to public DNS. This is where Send13 can read them in the Central US. Please be patient, it's them, not Send13's validation page app that is slow to complete this process.

A few must know SPF tips before you proceed

First off there is only one SPF record for a Domain.

However, some hosting will have more than one SPF record.

This is called SPF flatening.

So before you do anything, look through your DNS records:

SPF records are easily identified by the beginning text in the value:

v=spf1

If you see one SPF record already

If you see since SPF record? And you are confident to edit it without your hosting support guiding you?

  1. Click edit for the record
  2. Copy the SPF value we supply in Send13
  3. Delete the value you already have
  4. Paste in the Send13 updated version
  5. Click Save

Basic SPF How To

You will have 4 settings in an SPF record for Send13.

Record type: TXT

TTL: Select the default.

Hostname: @ or your domain name.

Hostname, Name, Host; same thing different names. And a number of hosting specific entries.

Value: The value we provide in your Send13 Client area.

Your Hosting is the absolute export on your DNS
